Your 2 year old will have company. Brian has the same mentality as a 2 year old. Oh and my boys will be there too, 3 (4 by the time this event happens) and 7.

Thanks Jason! I was promptly reminded by my wife that my daughter is 2.5yrs old. :D We'll have to see about your boys being near my girl though!

Brian sounds like fun! btw... I only act like I am 4!

Ahh this should be a great trip then.
My friend/neighbor is coming as well. He's got two girls, 2 and 4. I've got a little 50 cc quad if you wanna piss the wife off and put your daughter on it.

Yes, this sounds more and more fun as we go... the more kids to more fun! We should be out there early am on Sat.

The 50cc quad should not be a problem unless she doesn't like the noise. Mom has already helped me take her rock climbing and we made a zip line she liked on our last camping trip.

Does anyone do Slacklining in this group? Does pismo have any poles or trees to set something like that up?

not a tree for miles. and the only poles i can think of are the mile markers which would probably be to far apart. (never done slacklining, just wikipedia-ed it)

LOL. No trees. Lots of sand...and water. We might be able to tie a rope between trailers/trucks though. I'll be out ther by noon on Friday.

Yeah that would be bad timing.
If you don't know, here's the tide table site. http://www.classic-california.com/tides.htm

9-10 is right at high tide (and it's a pretty large high tide, almost +6'). If there's even the slightest swell coming in the river crossing will suck considering the amount of snow we had this year. You might better off taking your time and not showing up till 11:00 as the tide goes out.

If you do go, go slow (and I mean crawl through the water and try to time in between waves). Watch a few other people first.

Finding me is no problem. I can give you my cell #...and my truck can light a football field:
