I wouldn't want to have a state trooper look into my dark truck at night and see me putting my hand near that thing.

Some things just shouldn't be shaped like guns. Consumer Reports recently had a "what were they thinking?" article that showed kid's toothbrushes shaped like pistols. They asked "Did we really need to get our kids into the habit of putting guns into their mouths?"

    Just...

I agree with the point that some things (well, most things) should NEVER be shaped like a firearm. I love my guns, but they are quite dangerous and other objects should not be shaped like them.

This is especially a valid point with the recent national uproar concerning the shooting of Trayvon Martin. Imagine if he was holding some toy/object that looked like a gun. It would completely change the circumstances of the situation, and likely put George Zimmerman (the shooter) even further under the protection of the law. He would instead have a legitimate defense for his actions.

Sorry...kind of a rant. But yeah I had to say it.
