Hopefully nothing is wrong with the LT build?? Figured this was in response to low response so far, Bill's private Moab trip, and my suggestion to kill this thread in favor of Rock Therapy.

Want me to quit tagging you? I guess i see what you mean but i wasnt thinking politics or whatever. I always tag someone if I'm talking about them or something that aligns with their interests. Don't know of anyone that doesn't want to see you or your build at one of the meets.
Almost every TN meet the OGs talk about Moab or Rock Therapy. Tagged you because I was in TN basically saying I didn't think we needed a separate event or thread with two trips of different guys. Wanted you in the loop. Especially since in this case and if there is to be two Moab meets I'll likely go with the TN guys.

Apparently my definition of politics is different than some others. My version of "politics" doesn't revolve around having and taking advantage of a free will and the right to choose a date/time for a trip that is different than someone elses. Maybe that's politics...Maybe not. Long story short, I have a small group that's going to Moab at a time not consistent with that of the group. I didn't take offense with that, nor did anyone else apparently take offense at my choice. Point is, if you want to do something different, feel free to do so. Just don't take offense when others elect to do something other than what you want to do.

Nothing personal....We are simply on different agendas.

The interpretation I got is that Everett tagged you in order that he could insure you could see what others are doing. This gives you the opportunity to be a part of the group dynamic, and include yourself in that if you so desire. If you don't want to be a part of that, no harm no foul. We respect your right to do what you so desire.

I can only speak to my thoughts....The timing of your planned trip does not coincide with my schedule, my plans, or the plans of others involved in my plans. Does that make ME wrong? Certainly not. Does that make YOU wrong? Again, no.

Bottom line, nothing personal. No malice. No "politics".

Man I just wanted to go to Moab
Someone chimed in on wanting to go too
    So the thread was made
From that point on all I seemed to see was how I was stealing someone's thunder or ruining someone else's trip
Or inviting myself to their trip
    Or whatever else
    I'm not mad
    I'm not butthurt
    Just annoyed
I'm going to Moab on my way back from Cali and will be going again in July 2018

In an attempt to play peacemaker here, I don't think ANYONE meant anything bad/malicious/hurtful/political. What I do think is a large group of people were trying to work out what would be in the best interest of the group as a whole....Chad has his plan. No different than me and my plan for a Moab trip. What I saw (as a neutral 3rd party with no dog in the fight) was an attempt to involve Chad in the group plans. My individual plans (for Moab in April or May) don't fit with the larger group. So I make my own plans. Likewise, Chads plans don't coincide with the group plan....

Maybe someday we can ALL make plans that fit like a hand in a glove. Until then, we go when we can, with who we can.

In the immortal words of Rodney King, "Why can't we all just get along".
