WTF would you do head lights? will make your head lights dimer. by reducing light that goes thru the lens. same with tail lights. may LOOK good. but is not very safe..

Never tried it, might look good. You will have to check and see how much light is reduced by adding this smoke plasti-derp to it.

I'd check with your local police to make sure it isn't illegal first. Then give it a shot.. Worst case is you peel it off and waste $8.

    Mother of God.

I wouldn't use it on the lights, but be damn sure I could find something to use it on. Anyone have pics of this stuff in action?

I'll say what I say in every tinted taillights/headlights thread....why would you purposely make your vehicle less visible? If I rear ended someone with tinted tail lights I would sue the hell out of them.

I had headlight covers on a car once...scary as hell the time I went out on the country roads and forgot to take them off. Once I got over about 65 km/hr, I started out driving my lights. No way I would make a permanent change.

Yup, that was the joke I made too...until the dog that was on the road in the other lane was unseeable until I was about 15 feet away... just enough time to drop a fudgie in my pants before I realised he was going the other way.

Plasti dip smoke will have a flat look, not a gloss look, check out this vid on YouTube. They look awful with the smoke Plati dip on them. If I was to tint tails or head, I would do it with a film like lamin-x or some kind of tint film, so that it's removable later when you don't like it or realize its too dark. FYI I want to tint my heads but oly if I do a 55w HID retrofit first. And a very light tint film.

Tinting of any exterior light is illegal in most states. Also, if you get into an accident and your insurance company finds out you modified a federally mandated safety device, they aren't going to cover you.

Paper bag + PlastiDip Smoke + Inhale deep once sprayed in bag... You are halfway there already if you think putting this on your headlights is a good idea

This is funny reading the comments on this. Coming from people that are ok with turning off the seat belt chime, abs, air bags, sway bars and a multitude of other safety things.
