CAN I UPGRADE TO A FACTORY SYSTEM TO PLAY MP3 CD'S AND AN IPOD HOOK UP?

I have a double cab with JBL system and 6 CD changer.

Probably, but I would think that you need to find a 2009 JBL head unit for it to work properly. It will probably cost you more than if you were to go aftermarket.

Also, it isn't really an "ipod" hookup. It is an aux input.

To further clarify...I believe the JBL has an external amp which is why I would recommend searching for a 2009 JBL unit.

The JBL that the OP is speaking of is the factory upgraded one.
