Well I wouldn't have expected the ride to change any, but be aware that you are allowing the suspension to extended 4" further than it was designed to do at full droop. That binds the ball-joints big time. Don't flex the truck offroad, or go over speed bumps quickly if you don't want to damage the truck.

also a top plate spacer setup like that makes the front bump stops useless. You'll bottom out the shock way before you hit the bumps.

its not exactly 4", but its considerably more, i can tell if something overextends or gets in a bind. so back to the lean problem, would taking out the washers do the trick???

Apparently you cannot tell. Take all of the washers out, they are not intended for lifting a truck. Get a taco lean spacer and it will be fixed. Your not going to find many members here that will recommend any type of "cob-jobbing", and yes thats what you did

Whatever you say man but I'd get that entire lift off the truck asap. It is damaging the suspension, whether you notice it or not.

what the hell is the difference between a lean spacer and a washer? nothing at all, except looks, and price. One is free at any parts house, and the other is an ungodly amount. does the same exact thing. a simple yes, take some out or no, it wont help would have sufficed. but i can see that people who dont work on their own vehicles wouldn't know. good day

One is a solid piece of billet... one is a stack of washers. The top plates cost what, $20? You have an expensive truck and you want to lift it with $0.05 washers?

Also, if you're truely at 4" of lift, your CV angles would not look good and you wear out your CV boots and joints very quickly. You asked us for help, don't jump on us because we're pointing out the flaws in your logic...

Well for one a washer is used to spread the load of a bolt. A spacer is made to place a space between two items. Clearly you are not that mechanically enclined or you wouldnt need us to tell you that your gas tank is on the drivers side and weighs down the DRIVERS SIDE. Did you ever notice your lean occurs more with a full tank? Obviously you didnt

And thats funny how you say you work on your own vehicles but just a few posts back you whined about removing your diff drop because "its too hard" lol

Heres your simple yes, take all the spacers, washers, and blocks off the truck. Start over. Make a decision how much lift you want. Spend a good couple hours on this site and make good friends with the search function. Then you'll know exactly what to do in order to have the truck sit and look exactly like you want it to.

As for that last comment, you'll find that a majority of the active people on this site do work on their own vehicles, and that's exactly why we are telling you what we are telling you. As a matter of fact, I'm 18 and the only time my truck goes in to the shop is for an alignment or my state inspection.

Good day and good luck to you sir.

Well since your shock is now your bump stop when you bottom out the entire weight is on 3 washer sized spots on the shock tower. There is a reason your shocks have a plate at the top, so it spreads the load.

I guess if he ever wheels it will be a toss up at which part will break first. He might break a ball joint, or break a spindle with the gnar added 4" droop. He might break a shock or maybe even punch the washers through the shock tower from the loss of 4" of uptravel.

If you knew what you were talking about, you would know that that lift will result in a broken shock or other bj problems, also that the diff drop does NOTHING.

I've noticed this lean on my 2010 as well, and more noticeably recently on the front left. I have the stock suspension setup, which I would think/hope would address any weight differentials due to battery, gas tank, etc. Anyone having this issue with the stock suspension? I hate to take it to the dealership and pay the BS diagnostic fee only to have them tell me its just a poor design and not covered under warranty or something.

Not a 100%, (about 99% tho') on this but I'd get those washers out of there, the strut towers are not that thick of steel & they're designed for a flush fit all the way around the inside of the tower. Washers are going to cause a "rocking" effect & eventually will fatigue the metal around the washers & they'll crack & possibly rip away from the tower & sure i don't have to say what a fun ride that'd be... just my $.02;)
