IL-AG5-C1-5000 - you will need to pull-up on the lip of the connector to “unlock” the pins, and then slide a pin/needle/bodkin through one of the holes to depress the tabs and pull hard.

Alright all harnesses in batch 1 are en route to new homes expected 12/16. You should have tracking in your PMs. Next batch goes out Tuesday!

What removal tool did you use for the switch plugs? I had a hell of a time with the various removal tools I have and actually damaged one of the plugs.

For the contacts? You have to unlock the pins from the housing by lifting up the tab on top of the plug first. Then you stick a needle down the top hole (looking into the connector from the front) and the pin should come out. I tie flies and have a few bodkins sitting around that worked great for that size hole.

Appreciate it, I got 4 of 5 apart using metri pack and weather pack removal tools, but it was difficult at best. I'm waiting on a new set of female pins and connectors so I can clean up the mess I made when I install your PnP connector.

Be real careful with the contacts I linked they’re really tiny. Best to check for continuity on the bench as I messed up 4 of em and had to re-order new contacts. When you do the double crimp on your jumpers there’s a risk of severing one of the tiny 22 awg wires . Took a few tries before it worked. A little bit of heat shrink to act as a strain relief at the base of each jumper helped a lot. Can’t beat the cleanliness, though!

I’m not sure what ign 12V source would be inside of the overhead console. Maybe pin 16 on R44... @caribe makaira do you know how that pin behaves? He’s looking to tap an ignition 12V source in the overhead console to power a dash camera.

I’m making overhead console breakout harnesses now and will be doing function testing this week.

What connector does the traction control have? I'm wondering if I could also use one there for adding overhead buttons.

There’s a 24-pin connector up there that’s best to use. I’m actually putting a harness together this morning for it. Connectors showed up last weekend. I’ll make another thread for it later today.
