Here is one that Wheelers carries. You can get them at Napa, Autozone and the like. Just make sure it is long enough to go through whatever spring set you are putting together.

    Hey Folks,

Does anyone in the Seattle / Tacoma area have a set of four jack stands I can rent / borrow this weekend? Just need to rotate my tires.

I have a 2" lift. Think they'd be tall enough?

I could swing by tomorrow morn, have them back Sunday at the latest if that works for you.

sorry, I didn’t even think about the height. They only go to about 16”. If you can use them, I don’t mind whenever you can pick up and drop off is fine.

Hrm. The bottom of my axles sit at 11", so these might be able to work. Could probably use some lumber underneath them for added clearance.

Anyone have a paint booth?! Sort of joking, but the paint on my 20-year-old Taco is bad enough that I've got metal exposed here and there, and no plans to do a real paint job so I'm looking for a place to DipMyRide (bro). So if you happen to have a massive shop or something near Portland let me know. Going to be a while, prefer to wait until it's as warm as possible overnight and all that.

For anyone local to PDX who has a 1st gen and needs to get their e-brake cables off their leaf packs after lifting or adding a leaf or whatever, I made an extra set the other day and the first person who asks gets them. Just looking to give back a teensy bit considering how much I've learned from this glorious time-warping forum.

Thanks for directing me. Recently got the 'vibes' looking for a needle bearing removal tool to do the ECGS bearing replacement, located in Oregon.

I think @Nixinus is in your area and may still have one available to loan. Be sure to read through this thread, as there's a few of them floating around.

Anyone here specialize in automotive electrical? I need someone with deutsch connector tools. I'd like to re-pin some ditch lights.

I just redid all my aux electricals as my quarantine project and used Deutsch connectors for everything. All I needed was a pair of needle nose pliers, cutters and a soldering iron. You can use the tools (would make it much easier if you make a mistake and have to remove pins) but not necessary. I used a tiny 1 mm Allen key to remove them when I made a mistake

I've got the disassembly and reassembly figured out... I was just hoping someone had the crimping tool to properly connect the pin to the wire.

    upload_2020-4-24_9-13-55.jpg

Did you just smash the pin on the wire using the needle nose? Not criticizing, just confirming.
