police testing tomorrow

Hey everyone, I have some police testing tomorrow for Flagstaff, pd. Im kinda nervous because there are 54 people testing for only 3 open positions. I do have military experience and college classes, plus im young and pretty good shape. Maybe have a little advantage...

Anyone else officers on here? how was the academy and how do you like your job??

You need maturity. Beyond that.....I prefer to leave them dead on the battlefield.

 

haha ya i learned alot in the army, i think that will give me an edge on most.

 

im excited, i have wanted to be a police officer my whole life. ive just been waiting till i was old enough.

ya tomorrow i have written test, then have physical test, then have oral board all the same day. im excited but nervous too

 

well, just took the written test. sorry to say that i did not pass it. i missed it by 3 points..

Now im all bummed out.

 

hey man don't get down!! You need to apply to numerous departments. With military and college you should have several depts fighting for you. If you are not grounded there in Flagstaff, try Houston PD. They are hiring like crazy and the pay is very good after you get off probation. The pay coupled with the cost of living out here is niiiiiice!
