Call corporate and open a case. I've read on here that some people have gotten extended warranties. Worth a shot.

After several guys had them fail they started buying a spare and keeping it in the truck just in case they happen to be out in the middle of nowhere and have it fail again.

That's what I like to hear. I fully intend to take this truck past the 200K mark. I predict that it will do it without issue.

Intermittent hard starting with warm engine. Been to the dealer three times, still no fix. They reset the computer, replaced CPS, tested the fuel pump, next step is replacing a possible bad fuel injector. Only 13,000 miles.

I noticed that...the single-most response for reviving is subject matter search vs starting a new thread.

Indeed. This thread no longer serves its original purpose, not when the 4th gen will show up in a year lol.

Yes, 2018 TRD OF threw code and check engine light. Fell victim to the bad exhaust valve/ bad head clearance issue. Pulled motor replaced one side head and valves and all required components. Happened at 39,500 miles.

After a 2014, 2016, and now a 2019: No problems apart from (minor) TSBs.

Total spent on repairs is still $00.00.

This is one superb, dependable truck.

Motor died on me once though it wasn’t the motor’s fault.

When they were sorting out the fuel pump recall and I was waiting for my truck’s turn to get one, the fuel pump actually failed for the reason of the recall and it stalled out

Other than that, completely reliable over the 3.5 years I’ve owned it.

OK had to look up “OF” slang to see what I mistakenly alluded to…,now I know:censored:
