A member had recommended starting a thread to consolidate the lemon law or buyback posts. Here it is.

    1. Have you had Toyota buy back your 3rd gen Tacoma, or is the process in motion?

    2. Have you succeeded in a lemon law case, or is that process in motion?

    3. Have you received a 125k mile Platinum warranty for your troubles.

    4. I have problems and Toyota did nothing so I have to take care of it myself.

    5. I have no problems so need nothing from Toyota.

To get proper results you need two more options:
    4. I have problems and Toyota did nothing so I have to take care of it myself.
    5. I have no problems so need nothing from Toyota.

You will get a lot more participation in this thread of you include these choices.

So the no problems choice won't be added to the poll results? Useless poll.

Do you think I should add it? I was thinking this poll would be for those with issues they are with resolving or need support in resolving. What do you think?

Of course otherwise it looks like 100% of the trucks have issues instead of just the responders

Good job. With the poll set up this way, you should get valid results. Well, as valid as results can be using an enthusiasts internet forum lol.

Is part of the lemon law process agreeing to keep the results confidential if the plaintiff is successful?
I have read that somewhere but not sure, as it varies from State to State.
If it is true, the poll might not be accurate.

Every state is different. My state has no such confidentiality agreement. Your state might. Voting in an internet poll anonymously that you had a lemon claim I doubt would violate the agreement...

I was thinking after I posted, and imo any poll on TW will almost never be "accurate".

I did a quick search, and it seems if your lawyer is worth their salt, he/ she will advise against signing any confidentiality agreement, as it leaves you open for future litigation.

Since my current truck is operating fine, knock wood I won't need to worry about this, and fwiw, I didn't vote in this "poll'.

I mentioned that too elsewhere because I don't think you are allowed to discuss details.

2 months, 1850 miles, no legitimate issues. Let's see how it fairs from here.

Of course not. Its a skewed, extremely small subset and absolutely not representative of the real world numbers of the trucks in question.
