    I have given these exact same reasons a number of times to my own son's. Both of them blew me off as not wanting them to do stuff to their cars. My oldest Jeff never did tint his tails, Josh did tint his tails on his TC, got a ticket and had to remove it. I think it is a very bad idea. IMHO
