I vote yes. Here in Florida, the sun can be particularly brutal. Plus I like the way it looks on the super white truck. I also have a dash cam using the go pro mount and while it makes the video darker, it doesn’t impede it whatsoever.

I think it would look good on that red especially if all your windows are tinted.

Its a huge necessity with the Florida sun, and it I like the way it looks with my quicksand as well. I have limo visor, rear doors and rear window, and 15% on the driver and passenger doors.

I’ve seen cops make people rip their tint off for being too dark on the side of the road. I think 15% is the law now. I know it used to be 10% on the driver and passenger doors.

Get a good pair for sunglasses and your fine. I live in Hawaii and even with crazy sun I never thought once that I needed it.

Don't do it. It makes the whole job look... cheap... in my humble opinion.

What I do, esp with darker tint than allowed, is to roll the windows down before the cop has a chance to walk up. Out of sight out of mind.

Of course, it doesn't help if they want to inspect the tint. Just saying that I have never had the problem. I also have not gone any darker than the rear windows. 20% over factory tint on the front windows?

On my 3rd tacoma and never have had regret it not doing it here in FL, also with the area around the rear view mirror being so busy due to sensors and mounts if a 18 or newer, it will look weird. Sun glasses and sun visors all you need.

We've done legal tint before. It's just not dark enough even up here. Beyond that, matching the factory back windows works for my slight OCD.

I won't even get into all the unmarked cars around here with limo tint.

Whole windshield is already getting done, the vote is to whether or not to include the trim...

Oh I thought the windshield was bare... LOL sorry, but i vote NO! It looks wonky to me and throws the look off IMO. Sunglasses work well if you absolutely need more.

funny the first thing my 12 year old said after getting in the new tacoma was where is the blue strip across the top , I hadn't noticed to that point.

I wouldn't get one of those hard edge tints done my dad did when he lived in Florida and it drove me crazy driving it.
