    Couldn't agree more.
Had it on every vehicle I've ever owned, not this time.
@ 6'2", all in the torso, even the rear view mirror blocks visibility.

in FL, it's 28% VLT for the front driver/passenger windows, 15% for rear sides and rear window.

I thought the front had to be lighter than the rears?

They do. VLT is visible light transmission, so a 28% VLT tint allows in more light than a 15% VLT tint. The higher the VLT, the lighter the tint.

Thanks man. I have 35% ceramic as well. Also have an 11” tint strip. I’d go for the strip. Really helps with the sun and can’t even tell with the full windshield tinted

I’m having the same dilemma, would be nice to have a sun visor like a plane that folded down and was a tinted plastic

Do it. It helps when driving east in the mornings and west in the evenings.

I'm getting mine done. Unfortunatley, also doing a dashcam. Mine isn't scheduled until early December which means I have to wait to install the dashcam. I don't want it in the tinted portion. Not sure what degree of tint they are using but if it's not dark enough they will redo it. Previously I had 5's in the rear and 15's up front, which in Montana on non lit roads, kinda sucked. I hate to admit it, because I did enjoy the privacy of it and the look, but I won't be doing it again. This time it's matching tint on the fronts, so I think 25? I can already tell the sun strip won't bother me and the sun visors are pretty terrible IMHO. I just hope I don't have to mount my dashcam too low.

I'm on the fence as well, leaning more towards a banner over the tint. For me here in FL, my knees will get a tan on long drives.

I will get a strip installed when I go in for the tint job on my front side windows on my new Taco. Had one on my Venza and loved it worked really well. Got to get it worth it.

Just like a few others here, do the entire windshield, worth every penny. Got mine at 50% with the rest of the truck at 5%. Matter of fact all my vehicles are the same way

I think it is against the law here in Canada to tint the whole windshield.

Get a thin one, that says Toyota, if any at all (see below). Otherwise no. I am getting the visor tint from a previous owner removed this week, in fact.

I would never put a Windshield tint with the Toyota logo, just does not look right and everyone knows it is a Toyota no need to advertise it. just saying.
