    Highway mpg @ 70+mph = 16-17.5
    <60mph = 19-23

    I have an IS300 that I dog out all the time. I got the AFE intake for the truck, and trust me it gets driven like the car engine it is. reeeeeevvv out.

    The best mpgs I have gotten on a trip, oddly enough, was when I went snow skiing the other weekend. 4000ft elevation change, sharp turns and switchbacks, blue ridge pkwy, etc. 20.4mpg. The key to that trip was taking 55mph and lower roads--and I even passed people in the oncoming lane several times.

    The truck is a brick, has big and fairly wide tires, and has a ton of airflow under it. It does great for what it is. If you honestly expected 24+mpg regularly, you should have gotten something aerodynamic, with narrow tires w/ small sidewalls, smooth underbody, and LOW.

    No no no. It's an on/off switch by Toyota design.

    If there was an egg it's time to scramble the sucker!

    I get around 22-24mpg but I'm a 4cyl. Best I ever got on the trip tracker was like 28 but that was coasting down hill most of the way lol.

    Interesting how you can sort of manipulate the numbers by changing our driving habits, driving down a hill, up a hill, etc. But the question is, is that sustainable over the long run. MPGs are going fluctuate.

    To me, it feels like the question should be, are you comfortable with how often and how much gas you're putting in the tank.

    Right now I'm fine with filling up at least 2 times a week. I drive to the mountains a lot. It's winter. I expect this.

    If I'm filling up 2 - 3 times a week in the summer, I'd be bummed.

    I don't expect the good MPG. To be honest, I care very little at all. I just traded in a '15 Mustang GT that I averaged 23mpg in. If I want good gas mileage, I have my motorcycle that gets 50+ mpg (Harley Lower Rider S).

    I do think it's within reason to expect decent MPG in this day and age, but really if someone bought the truck and is that upset about it.. probably shouldn't be in a truck.

    I usually average around 17. I drive a mix of city, freeway, and hills and I have a lead foot. It is what it is.

    I call bs on anyone claiming over 25.

    I was getting like 18L/100km during break in period city driving mostly
    Now after break in with 3000km on the truck I'm averaging 13-14.5L/100km city driving.

    If I'm doing strictly highway doing about 115km I can usually get 11-11.8L/100km.
    So ya you'll get better after break in period
    The worst I got was about 3 weeks ago, with 1500km on it roughly, was getting 24L/100km...now mind you it was a complete snow storm and I never got out of 4H

    You can easily get over 25 depending on the type of roads you are driving on. Most of the roads I drive have a 45 limit. Problem is: I drive short trips and there are lots of traffic lights. When cold (even 75F) I might only get 22 mpg on a 7 mile drive; when warm I can get over 28 mpg sometimes.

    All this "I get", "they get" doesn't mean anything...
    Here is how everyone can confirm their trucks efficiency:
    Warm it up by driving at least 15 minutes/miles; 30+psi; windows up; no AC; dry, level road; cruise; no wind; average both directions...
    Here is about what your eco app should say in 6th gear (or better if 4x2 and/or non Off Road):
    MPH = MPG
    40 = can't cruise @40 in 6th
    42.5 = 33.5
    45 = 32.5
    50 = 30
    55 = 27.5
    60 = 25
    65 = 23 (estimated)

    ...and I can't go 75 in a 45 to tell you what you should get (probably 18-19, though)

    ...but anyone who really thinks there is something wrong with their truck can check... if they want; but, most will probably not and just keep complaining.

    Me neither... unless... I let it idle for 20 minutes; turn it off; turn it back on; then go... maybe

    This is so true I've noticed that if you speed up on the start and not drive like a grandma and get to like 30-40mph you can keep that speed while getting like 20-25mpg. You basically cruise at 1000 rpms at that speed.

    Yes, I believe it is best to accelerate with rpm maxing out at no more than 2500. Unfortunately, with this tranny software I can't really do that in D... I can do it manually bumping up gears in S... you can actually do it in ECT; but, once you get to ~45 mph you are better off without ECT.

    Where is "Rev 2"???

    well, I posted pictures... And can post some more of every time I shut off the truck and it tells me. Here are a couple, the one at like 30 was just a run to the gas station down the street though.
