    Side ways mounted cargo basket is a little funky. Especially because only one side has the wind fairing.

    It fits better sideways in my opinion. The long dimension is still less than the width of the bed. It’s oriented to obstruct less of the bed if I need the height for some reason. If I remove the wind valence, it’s perfectly symmetrical, but I haven’t done that yet.

    It’s perfectly symmetrical without it, but I haven’t removed it yet. Still on the fence about that.

    Well in that case that's cool. Actually might be easier to load things in from the sides with it in that orientation too :hattip:

    With the wind valence off, I think it could look like a kit you could buy off the shelf somewhere.

    Roof Rack, RTT, Leer 180 Cap, Pullout Kitchen, Airlift Kit, Removed interior plastic paneling behind rear seats to make room for electrical & pv system, Pioneer Bluetooth Radio.
    I have the roof rack and that thing is bomb proof and looks pretty mean. Definitely pricey though...

    Ill take pics of my DIY racks. The most expensive parts were the angles from @Pyrotech and really they were only like $50 for all 4.
