Received my PL5403 tailgate lock from Pop n Lock. Upon inspection of the face of the lock there are indentations that are noticeable (especially if viewed at certain angles and light conditions) where the mounts attach on the back of the lock. Any one else notice this? My question is; is this a particular defect with my particular lock or is this part and parcel to this product?IMG-1352.jpg IMG-1350.jpg

Who knows? It’s a very minor imperfection. Ain’t no one going to notice or care.

You are correct in that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But then again why pay premium for second best if that be the case. That is the core of my inquiry.

The one I bought definitely didn’t look like that. And yeah, I would’ve sent it back too.

Now doing research to find out if the one I received was a second or not.

As long as you sent it back pointing out the issue you should be good. Did you ask for a refund or replacement? The reason I ask is asking for a replacement may make somebody actually look at the product before sending it out. Hopefully.
