Here’s a better video. Sounds like it’s in my diff or a slip yoke lube issue

Slip joint noises usually show up when coming to a stop.
If anything, I'd say it's rotarional slop in your u-joint...
Have you tried greasing it yet?

I have not tried greasing yet. Since there’s no zero fitting on my 2017, I would need to pull off the drive shaft correct?

Is the truck downshifting right as you hear this or immediately before doing this? I’m light on brakes, and I hear/feel this. When I hit the brakes a little harder, I don’t hear/feel it. Try that

this happens after putting the vehicle into drive or reverse, immediately as I release the brake pedal and from a cold start (or after sitting for approx an hour). That’s the only time that this occurs. It will do it one time and that’s it.

I notice the same “clunking” sound with mine. Only happens once when the truck has been sitting. Thought it had to do with turning left since I always noticed it while turning out of my driveway. I read on another thread here where someone took his truck in over this issue and the tech said the ABS brakes make this sound as the system is activated when the truck gets to 3mph. I believe that’s correct. I tested it and I can control when it happens. Turning, driving straight, it doesn’t matter. Always happens at 3 mph. Looks like it’s a normal sound our trucks make. Test it out and see if yours is the same.

Had some issue's with mine recently since my lift. Noticed mainly coming out of a small incline driveway and turning left. Coming from the left front. a loud pop sound that would happen here and there. After re checking everything the two lower ball joint bracket bolts on the driver side were not that tight. Re torqued and havn't had any issues yet.

Mine does that same clunking noise and also pulls back and forth without a lift. Took it to the dealership 3 times and doesn’t do it there. A couple days after I use it, it starts once again.
