Hello yall, new to the Tacoma world. Bought a 2017 Sport this past week. Noticed that when i turn the wheel to the max to the left or right then lightly let off the brake, i get a loud popping noise. To me it sounds like a strut issue. Any others experience this?

    Thanks for the help.

Mine is a 2020 I bought new and I think it does the same thing. I mostly notice it when AC and radio is off turning into parking spots. I'll hear a pop.

I did some research a while ago and some people had took their truck into the dealership about it. They said it was the air filter moving when the engine starts to suck more air. I guess when you crank the wheel and you are idling, it spikes the revs on the engine and makes it suck a quick burst of air and the intake makes the popping noise.

    Hope this helps
