    I've lost track
So I work as a delivery driver and use my tacoma for work. I've been on a bunch of trail runs and nothing has ever broken but the other day while on a delivery I hit a speed bump (did not see it till the last second) and now it sounds like something is wrong with my brakes.

When I drive on the road there is a rattling sound like something is loose. And when I apply the brakes there is a popping sound as I slow down. It clunks repetetively and when I'm almost all the way stopped I start to feel the popping in the pedal and through the floor board. I searched for something like this on here but have found nothing. So if anyone has had this problem and can tell me what it is I would greatly appreciate it. I depend on this truck for work and school so its very important that this is fixed. Thanks

I would check your u-joints to make sure they are good. I know they can cause similar symptoms... if one of them lets loose, bad news...

I'm taking it to a mechanic later this morning, I'll be sure to ask him about it. how much would something like that cost to fix??

u-joints are usually pretty inexpensive, and labor shouldnt be too bad, depending on the shop rate, I would say less that $200... but thats just speculation without looking at your truck. The mechanic should be able to tell you whats going on, hopefully its something simple. good luck :D
