popping sounds in my steering rack after spindle lift?

    yea, see my above, this was it...like i said, so pissed i missed the simple thing!

    i'll look into those castle nuts this weekend, any good places to pick these up?

    most small hardware stores have them, they look like a ny lock nut.

    sorry, i guess i was talking about the bolts for hte castle nuts...never purchased those before...a place like ace or osh carry these?

    or did you just drill your own hole in the bolt for the cotter pin?

    ^ well, from my research, you have to drill the bolt yourself adn just use a castle nut. the local hardware stores around me didnt have the 5/8-18 castle nut, so i just red locktighted every one and tightened again.

    maybe when i get a few more things on the truck done i'll take care of this...

    when you reloctited did you just remove the nut and leave the truck unlifted...then reapply the locktite and torque the nut back on?

    yea, just unbolted one bolt at a time, removed the nut, red locktighted, then retorqued. did it right in the driveway, no need to jack the truck up.

    There is 2. One with pics and some helpful tips and another that's a sticky in the suspension section which is a quick reference guide and a step by step. Some of the socket sizes and such might be a little off haha
