My 01 has been a colorado truck its whole life and while it doesnt have cancerous rust, but its showing signs of the surface rust growing. has anyone used POR 15 on the frame to stop and prevent rust? or at least to slow down the progression of rust formations?

any tips for when applying it to the frame? I plan to do this next month as i intend to add rear frame plating to strengthen the frame as well. what i am going to cover would be the underside of the bed/wheel wells, and as much of the frame as i can without creating and ugly mess.

My skid plates and sliders will also be coated with this stuff and touched up with spray paint as needed.
