Looking for suggestions on an air compressor. Want something small for my truck but don’t want it to be on board air as in mounted permanently. Suggestions? Needs to be able to be used similar to the ARB dual compressors. Don’t mind running straight to battery or running off of the plug in the bed.

Working on it, dissent offroad racks, shift sense pro, pedal commander , ARB twin, rigid SS dually's , dual batteries, ARB fridge , 2.5 Fox coil overs wResi , 2.5 Fox rears w resi Total chaos UCA , deaver packs , Nitto trail grappler's 33" .
The ARB highoutput portable does a really good job filling up to 33” and a pretty good job ( a bit slower) filling a 35”.
Plus it’s really reasonable and it’s built solid !

Another vote for the Viair 88. Fits nicely behind the backseat.

There's a smittybilt one that 5.65 CFM you can pick up at any 4WP. It appears to be the same compressor as the Viair with a higher flow rate. I use it and it's great. Airs up 4 33's in the time it takes some other people to air up 2 with other compressors.

I have the ARB twin in my Tacoma’s and my Jeeps. They work awesome ! But I do like the little portable also. Mostly for around the ranch for airing up tires without having to drive to them.
The twins are all plumbed to front and rear bumpers:).

Smaller packing size than the others so it doesn't take up room, adds 6 lbs. of air per minute to my 265/75-16 tires (so 3 minutes per tire to go from 16 psi back to 34 psi), clips directly to battery. Under $90...
