How did I miss this thread!!! The things you've done to your truck are amazing, as are the places you wheel at. Been west a few times and you guys out there got some amazing places to go. The east coast is fun, but you can't beat the mountain views out west. Keep up the great work and following for sure. Brings back memories of my 1st gen, same color, had some great times in that little truck

Quick blast of paint, obviously not perfect as yet, I have to do these, and the hood, and am waiting on the bedsides. I’ll get it all fit up, the. Paint it all at the same time. Pretty stoked.

Dig the round headlights! I always said Im going to do that if I ever smash mine out on the trail.

Take the snorkel off and throw it in the garbage is the strategy to get those fenders to work with it.

 

This is the issue losing the snorkel. I need to raise the intake, or move it from the fender. A couple trips I wound up with a soaked air filter, so went to the snorkel. I’m looking at a way to run it into the cowl, but with the heater core, there’s not a ton of room.

 

I’ve seen this crossing cover 40” tires before. This is fairly low water.

 

I'm working on a whale mouth grille right now, to fit around the rounds. The LED's are unreal, and I love that they're heated.

 

Swapping in the new lower control arm, and I pulled the ARB bumper.

 

And I put it up for sale, for $850, and sold it an hour later for asking price. Going to a trail gear tube that I’m going to modify, so there not so many open holes. The coverage of the trailgear looks to work with the fenders better than the ARB does.

 

Give your coil buckets a good look over for cracks.

 

And while I’m this far in to the truck, may as well get it all done!
