Reminds me of the part of the movie The Right Stuff when Yeager flames out and parachutes down all busted up. Colonel Ridley riding in the ambulance and the corpsman spots Yeager. “Sir! Over there! Is that a man?”
Ridley: “Yeah, you damn right it is.”
    Respect to you.

I know they are the kind of thing that like to be retorqued after a few heat cycles

I'm hoping that takes care of her. Going to get after it over the next few evenings.

Apparently I didn't know you had a build thread, subbed.

You get to explore some really cool stuff up there and you build some really unique shit. I appreciate the fuck out of that.

So, picked up my buddy Peter, in Calgary, as we headed towards the west koots for the weekend. 1-1/2 hours later, the supercharger was squealing like a stuck pig. Turns out the last trip and all the dust had done a number on the needle bearings, and we were in trouble! Golden BC had a Napa, and I bought a regular alternator belt. We had it ripped down, and back together in just over an hour! Now to rebuild (again) the supercharger:angrygirl:

Nothing like wrenching in the parking lot of a parts store! Reminds me of the time we had to change out a radiator in front of a junk yard - can't imagine why they didn't want to buy the old one off us when we were done

Something else to catch up quick. I had OME 883’s under the nose with the ARB. I swapped a buddy for what we thought were 882’s to get some ride back. Turned out they were 881’s. And man, did they suck. So, bought some 882’s, Cody paid half, I paid half, he kept the 883’s, and the truck rides and sits great again.

Welp. That’s ugly. The supercharger is in need of some love. I’m going to take it to a machine shop, see what the can figure out, and if they think they can deal with the housing, I’ll order new vanes.
