Possible performance boost

Hello I was told a header for my 4cyl truck may not be the most beneficial addition for power what else could I look into to push some extra power out of my truck ?

 

Without throwing boost at it, the header is one of the best upgrades you can do imo

 

Some people pull the carbon filter from the airbox and claim a few more HP. This filter is an emissions thing -- beware this mod if your state requires inspections.

 

lce headers people say net noticeable gains, but booooooost would be the golden ticket.

I have the lce header, charcoal delete, and afe dry drop in and noticed a good difference

 

Definitely forced,air but you’re looking at him a lot of money

 

I have the, LCE header and a cheapo short ram CAI on the 2.7. It does quite well really, it's much better than stock.

 

I saw a video on youtube, a day or two ago, with a 3rd gen V6 vs 2.7 drag race. The V6 did win, but only by 1 3/4 truck lengths, which is not much, but they do tow better than a 2.7!
