SO I have been contemplating removing the stock radio and swapping it out with an aftermarket. My main concern is losing the bluetooth features and front aux/audio jack that come stock on the 2013s. Has anyone with a 2013 done this and still been able to use these options??

If I lose these, wouldn't really be worth the new radio.

From what I have read so far you should be able to retain the stock buttons on the steering wheel, even with an aftermarket stereo.

aux jacks are junk....unless you don't mind lower quality tunes.

i recommend going aftermarket with aftermarket speakers and a sub....add in an ipod and rip music at a lossless level.

There are many aftermarket decks that have bluetooth capabilities and front aux jacks. There are also adapters for many aftermarket decks that allow retain the use of the buttons on the steering wheel. With an aftermarket deck, you'll also likely get much better sound quality.

Search. A lot of people have done it including me. You'll need to invest in some parts and do a lot of research but it can be done. GL!

I had put aftermarket HU in my last several vehicles but with the Tacoma I stayed stock to retain all built in features BUT I added an Alpine KTP-445U amp and the VAIS Tech satellite adapter. At some point will upgrade the speakers but for now I have greatly improved sound quality and volume and Satellite radio.
