Recently got my 05 with 200k back after 2.5 months and for some reason the radio doesn't function as well. Some stations I used to get don't come in at all and some have static. Other than that the truck has been fine although I was surprised they didn't detail it or at least wash it before returning it. Guess the first move would be to replace the antenna and see if it makes a difference. Any ideas???

You have the right idea. See if you can tell if the antenna was even reconnected, not sure how youd do that tho

Who set the stations after the battery was reconnected? If it was the dealer maybe they didn't get a few stations exactly tuned in.

Here's a link for how to replace the antenna assembly. Make sure the antenna connection didn't come loose behind the pillar.

The radio is removed by pulling out the AC controls, then removing the four 10mm bolts. Once radio is free make sure the antenna wire is plugged in all the way.

If the other suggestions don't work, I would check to see if any ground connections are missing.
