Thanks! No spacers. Wheels are -10 offset (Ray 10's). Tires are 285/70/17.

That's going to be different for everyone considering wheel width, weight and PSI. I just measured a hair under 32". I have 9" wide wheels which probably reduce the height of the tires since they are being stretched over a wider rim.

On that note, what PSI is everyone running on their tires?

Like your style !!! 33’s are working great !! I think I’ll give the 35’s a whirl
Think you might ...find 35’s will be in need of 4:88’s ??? Tho I’ve seen folks that don’t :). Can’t wait to see what you think

I'm a firm believer in the 4.88's is dependent upon your needs, driving styles, and geographic location.
For instance, central VA is primarily pretty flat and the 3.91 with 35s does fine 95% of the time. I don't tow heavy and rarely haul heavy, and I'm pretty content with stock gearing and OVTune. However I just spent a week in the very north east corner of PA in the Poconos and I can say without a doubt that I'd be regearing if I lived up there. Too many hills and steep climbs to traverse.

    Thank you.

I have 4:88’s on both Jeeps andshortbed tacoma. IMO there a must have for larger tires especially if you wheel .

What you see in my second pic, a little PA dirt on the tires, is the extent of my off roading. Need the clearance and the contact patch, not so much the low slow speed crawl. The entry to the property is a steep incline for about 100 yards, but I just lock it into 1st via S and take it easy.

Yea I get it. But as I said I go the other spectctrum from m desert runnning to going over stuff ! As basically what ever I need to do to get where I want to get.
But a an added benefit to 4:88’s , it shifts flawlessly:). Worth it to me right there :). But I have to say it’s nice having a civil conversation with two somewhat opposing views and approaches !
    Thank you

So I'm going on a 4 day long wheeling trip this summer through the Washington Backcountry Discovery Route. I've done some other more aggressive trails in OHV parks before but don't do it often. That's my dilemma. This is my DD, but I have a short local commute and don't go wheeling that often. But when I do go wheeling, we do some decent hill climbs, rocks, roots, snow, etc (typical NW wheeling). So it feels like I won't need to regear to 4.88 MOST of the time, but when I do go wheeling, I will need/want them. :notsure:
