Definitely good eating. Not much bacon to be had to everything else is good.

Suppressed 22 and headshots. Best way to bird hunt in my opinion. I'll take a 22 all day over a shotgun for shooting birds.

Hmmmmm , it's certainly one way to hunt them. Guess I might have to break out the ol' Ruger 10/22 and see if it's still sighted in. Though I do have an old Winchester 22 pump that only shoots 22 shorts. Pretty quiet.

Got a jake this morning behind my house in NC before work :D. I was getting ready to leave and stood up. He started spitting and drumming behind me (had no idea he was there, didn't hear a single gobble this morning). I sat back down and within 10 minutes had him on my decoy 10 yards away. Not a big turkey but he sure will taste good! :hungry:

How do you like the Magpul stock? I have been debating about getting one for my 870 super mag.

This is the first season I’ve had it and I love how it fits my frame. I need to get the comb riser to get more in line with the optic and set up a sling for it.
Recoil pad is awesome, I barely feel the 3.5” longbeard xr’s kick lol

Magpul says it won’t fit the super mag but it fits mine just fine :)

Super mag is the way to go. The stock I have on mine has a very high comb, it was made for a slug barrel to be used. Makes it very difficult to hit anything that flies. Appreciate the feed back, it'll be at the top of my list to get. The recoil pad on mine feels nice to the touch but when you shoot it, it's not so nice. I typically shoot 3.5 turkey loads and 00 buck/000 buck

Only 23.6 lbs but longest spur was 1-3/8”. Oldest bird I’ve killed, I think.
