Good thread, those Scouts bring back some memories my first experience with 4x4's and hunting was with friends that had IH's back in the early 70's. And good to see some of the first rigs people had for hunting. Mine was a 77 FJ55 I bought in 1980 in Washington State. Only picture I have of it I need to find the original and do another scan of it sometime. The "Iron Pig" AKA Moose.

This is mine. Built it up and now selling it because I bought a Tacoma. I'm looking forward to building my Tacoma up. Hope to have it ready for the summer.

Holly crap, I missed that, yeah that is a boat load of timber doodles. Not a fan of eating a bird that eats worms and has cock in its name. And many dogs will blink them because they don't either. But that is impressive, I don't care who you are. Well done!!!

The Tacoma barely goes hunting with me, so I take the Jeep Comanche. Regardless, in the photo my buck is in the back of the Tacoma. Also this isn't my picture but it is pretty close to my jeep.:rofl:The jeep is such a beater lol

My hunting rig.... Well its more of a fishing rig, but it does haul dead deer pretty well.

I dont hunt as much as I used to. I typically only deer hunt during PA rifle season now. I spend most of my free time fly fishing, its my "happy place". I "hunt" for both native and wild trout in tiny little mountain streams in PA.

I have all the typical modifications - Bilstein 5100s, Eibach springs, Light Racing control arms, Duratracs, Spidertrax spacers, LED light bar, Bestop Supertop, Weathertechs, bed mat, Coverking seat covers, LED bed lights, blah blah blah. Typical "build" stuff for this website. Love the truck.

These photos are my "trophies". Catch, snap a picture, and release -

Here's mine, but not in its element. It's my DD so I haven't changed it too much. Just enough to get me over the creek and through the fields.

    Fantastic and well done!

This one has me very intrigued, as I camp out of the back often and the water from dew or rain is a PITA running down the hatch window to the inside everytime I open it. I will occasionally rig a tarp especially if raining but it isn't the best solution. If you don't mind where did you get it and does it work well? Great leveling (and chock) job BTW!
Your 58 Siesta is older than dirt, I know as I was born in 58 :anonymous:. I like it!

It's just a Yakima rack with a tarp tied to it then guyed to the trees. It works great.

Here's a pic of the sleeping area in use (drinking weekend - so not too organized)
