Toytec ULK, Light Racing UCA's, OME Dakar rear leaves, ARB Bumper with XRC8 winch, Good Year Duratracs 285/70/17's on 17x9" Level 8 Strike 6's. Leer cap in the winter. Pioneer Double Din with BT, iPod, etc. Boston Acoustic components in all 4 doors with a Sony amp, powered 8" sub. Ultra gauge, Tom Tom...
Toytec ULK with Dakar rear leaves. LR UCA's, ARB with XRC8. Adjusted front coilovers to 2" of exposed threads below the adjusting collar to allow for any sag due to the bumper/winch combo.

Front measurements on both sides center of hub to fender is 24" exact. Rear hub center to edge is 25" on both sides.

I had to trim the rear of the front fender flares, but so far it hasn't rubbed on the body mount.

I'm running Duratracs, 285/70/17's on stock Sport rims with 1.25" spacers.

I just went out and took some pics, but YUP!, they are. I read a "mod" the other day as far as "stretching" the boot so they wouldn't rub. That may be my next mod.:D

Pics to follow...I'm waiting on the Kodak Easy Share to load so I can get the pics posted.

    THEN...flame away...I can take it...I've been married twice:thumbsup:''

    Hey, here they are!

How long do you think I have to remedy this. This coming Sat. it goes in for the free oil change, (normally I do it, but this dealer has done ALL the scheduled maint. for the previous owner, and it's free!) and for the final alignment since adjusting the coilovers. Can it wait for the weekend you think?

    Loving all the salt!!!

My wife was teaching me all about that last night...though it was Valentine's Day!!!:D

On another note, I haven't felt any binding in the front end, but I don't know if it's something you could feel or not. I've been running 4x4 alot on the road due to the snow and ice we have here, but no vibes (out of the ordinary tire buzz) as of yet. Any way to check for binding?

Looks like alot of fun, where are those trails?

Can you actually feel the binding, maybe in the steering wheel, or with your feet through the pedals and floor?

Man, loud popping would scare the hell out of me. Any unnatural noise makes me nervous, especially when they come out of MY truck.:( So, did lowering the front cure these noises, or haven't you been able to try it out yet?

Anyhow, hope it gets straightened out for you!

Just wanted to thank all you guys that took the time to share this info with us. As soon as it warms up a bit I'll be installing the toytec coilovers and 2" aal's. this really takes a lot of the guess work out of it, thanks again.

Being as they are made of rubber, when they touch, they will flex, and thus cause friction against one another....also known as rubbing. There are plenty of pics online showing groves being worn into the CV boots from this. Some have gone long enough to eventually tear at the worn location.
