power antenna

    how do I disable the power antenna ? It no longer goes up and down it just makes a terrible racket trying. Thanks, Dusty

    it stay up so no worry there , no fuse dedicated to it i looked both places, I guess i have to pull the fender off to get to it ?

    Hitch and wiring, aux back-up light, rear strobe lights, radio and underseat sub.
    There is a wire connected to the radio that controls it. Find it on TTORA, or pull the wire on the motor in the fender.
    I would just replace it with a whip antenna.

    fun stuff coming soon! New battery, radiator and CV joints and axles. Added some Rancho RS5000 shocks.
    mine does the same thing, where is the wire? and what does it look like? it works sometimes and when it does it sounds aweful!!!! when it doesnt work its pretty quiet and not noticable.
