This is what I am talking about, Kind of hard to get a good pictures but that is it on a window sill, you can clearly see that it is pretty dang warped. Doesn't look right to me.

Might have happened in transit? I noticed after I painted mine the other day it has a slight bend in the middle, not 100% straight, but not nearly as bent as what you got. Mine still fits nicely when I test fit.

I primed then shot with black enamel rattle can.

I dont know it just seems like it would be hard for it to bend like this in transit although it is a possibility, it just seems more like it happened in the machining process, hopefully O.P. will chime in.

Idk what yours got shipped in but I'd imagine it was the same large padded envelope, which if the perfect scenario lined up where say it was sticking out maybe wedged between some packages and a heavy one came down on it, I could see there being enough leverage to bend it. I mean it's not "that" thick of a piece.

There were a few in the manufacturing process that were warped and discarded. That one doesn't look to bad. I don't think it should cause any issues but u can try finessing it back in line. These are so thin that it doesn't take much to bend em which is nice if u want to straighten it a little. If it doesn't work out we can always send you another so no worries my man

Mine had a slight bend as well. I just gently persuaded it back to being straight.

@kgarrett11 any idea how long these will be available? Like I mentioned I wasn't able to do it at the moment, but in the future will these still be available?

So I'm curious. I'm not a total newb with wiring stuff by any means, but I was under the impression that most of these window motors can pull 20-30amps or so, yet the one I bought has maybe 16awg at best. I would've figured 12awg would've been more appropriate?

Only thing I can imagine is the motor I bought is part of a F150 rear slider assembly and so maybe it doesn't pull as much since it's only pushing/pulling a slider window as opposed to a full door window.

I guess I'll just whip out my multimeter whenever I get things wired up down the road.

Awesome… Thanks for shipping so quickly. Now I just have to figure out which window regulator will work best.

@kgarrett11, I know you had mentioned you might do one more batch before ending it all together. I was just wondering if you had shut down the production all together? If you've got any that someone might have backed out of or if your still getting that last batch together, I'll definitely take one.

Complete kit depends on how cheap ur motor is. The bracket is the hardest part to obtain

No one ever sold a complete kit in this thread. A member had offered a complete kit in another thread, stopped selling it and indicated an upgraded version of the kit would be available. After much waiting and no new products and nothing heard from the member the bracket offered in this thread was made. The original thread is 88 pages long and has many references and discussion about how to go about completing this mod. There are many different paths to the same destination. To my knowledge, no one has come up with a kit or even a specific start to finish step by step how to with a specific source for all the parts involved. But depending on how handy you are, you should be able to cull all the necessary information and produce a working product in your truck. Someday I may figure this out and offer a comprehensive write-up but my intentions never seem to catch up to reality and probably someone will beat me to the aforementioned write-up.

I'll take one if you still have these. Fits 3rd gen, right?

I'm going to buy one from another guy that isn't using it. Only the 17 and up TRD have the power slider. 16s don't and sr5 don't on 17s.

Finally got around to installing mine. Went with a dual SPDT relay route. Enforced my hate for wiring. As clean and professional as I try to do things it still looks like a bit of a rats nest behind my seat.

I ran the main 12v+ from my aux fuse box on a relayed circuit also for redundancy and so I look like a fighter pilot disengaging a safety lock (carling switch) before firing a missle (on-off-on toggle switch)

Rear slider Motor from F150. I wanted something that had cables of good length to work with already installed, rather than buying a regular window motor and adding longer bike cable. I probably could have gone with something cheaper though, maybe one from a Ram. It works well though.

Only issue with th F150 motor is the model year one I bought is pretty sealed so I doubt I could rebuild it if it detonates some day. Id just need to replace it.
