Use a turkey baster type thing, remove almost all fluid from reservior , refill, repeat once or twice after a day of driving between refills, that is all I could ever come up with, dont try and open a line, high pressure, (i think) unless it smells like it has been hot and burnt then you are fine.

isnt there fluid in the lines I need to clean out though?

I went offroading this weekend and my PA speaker (located next to my power steering) popped up and knocked the cap off, allowing dirt to enter the reservoir. My truck now makes a squeeky noise whenever I turn the wheel and Im assuming its because of the dirt? The levels are fine.
