How many gpm does a 2011 power steering pump put out? I use to have a hydraulic winch 9000# on my 05 thinking about 12k for my 11 if I have enough gpm.

    I don't it changed from an '05 to '11.
What did you add for it? An additional pump or a manual valve with filter?

On the 05 nothing but only had the 9,000# mile marker and it worked flawless. I’m wanting to put a 12,000# on the 11. I don’t know if it takes more flow or not than the 9,000 I need to do some research. 9,000 was plenty for the Toyota but I’m usually Lully stuff out other than myself is why I want the 12,000

Never dealt with hydraulic winches before. The PS pump puts out enough flow & pressure at idle to run the 9k?

Yes. Back when I had one according to the specs and research the power steering pump worked harder in 4wheel high vs a full load on the winch. It was nice having and hydraulic if you was going to be doing a lot of winch. Winch don’t get hot and no pull on your alternator. Downfall you can’t winch if the truck isn’t running, but you ain’t going to winch far with electric if the truck isn’t running either.
