    I’ve been eyeing some Milwaukee power tools but there is so many options. Does anyone have recommendations for sizes and which tools for working on the Tacoma ?

    Definitely depends what you're trying to do. An impact and a cordless work light are most helpful most of the time.

    If you're getting gnarlier than a sawzall and grinder will be good too.

    I bought M12 1/4 Hex kit that comes with the bag, a charger and two batteries, then bought the 3/8 ratchet along with two XC 3.0 batteries. Very pleased with the tools. The M18 line is more powerful and also more expensive. If I were a pro or constantly working on projects I may have bought the M18 stuff but M12 suits my use case just fine.

    as an added bonus, I have several other M12 and M18 tools, which I use all over the house as well. the whole multi tool battery platform thing is pretty sweet, I have to say.

    I'll emphasize on the bold.

    I always use my mid-torque M18 1/2" drive Fuel Impact whether it's on my vehicle or anyone else's.

    To make things convenient, or more like undoing bolts that don't require an impact, I use an M12 3/8" drive Fuel Ratchet.

    These 2 tools get damn near everything done until I need to use hand tools for something. And when that time comes, the Milwaukee Packout Metric wrench set comes in clutch.
