jeremy(hillbillytaco)'s dad really needs some uplifting prayers right now. he is going thru some tests and such, so please pray that everything goes smoothly for him. Jeremy and his family would appreciate it.

Thank You Will for startin this for me. Well lets start from the begining, 11 years ago my dad, Bill, was diagnosed with prostate cancer. They elected to REMOVE my father's prostate. About two years ago, during a yearly physical, the family doc said that dad's prostate was starting to swell. Dad told the doc that he was full of shit that he had it removed it must be scar tissue. The doc told him that he's had his finger in enough asses to know the difference between prostate and scar tissue. So a few tests later and low and behold..... prostate! So they keep his cancer in check with hormone treatment and medicines until recently. In the meantime he's become stubborn with everyone including doctors about how to treat his problem. They can't remove the rest of his prostate on count of all the scar tissue and removing it would render him completly incontinent. About two months ago he would have to piss about every 20-25 minutes. They doc thought that he may have kidney trouble so test for that all come back clear. then about two weeks ago he was hardly going at all and was having trouble poopin. He thinks that he is constipated and starts drinking turbo lax he finally poops and then starts throwing up so he's in the er and he is diagnosed with acute kidney failure. His prostate had become so enlarged that it blocked off his plumbing (front and rear) so he couldn't pee and it eventually backed up into his kidneys. He gets a cath and cleaned out and everything is lookin good then last night his sugar spiked and he goes into like a diabetic coma or shock i thought and so did everyone else that he had a stroke but cat scans all came back clear. he had dialysis today and another round tomorrow trying to get his kidneys back in order. they feel that they will come back. so now its the waiting game. sorry for the long post but thanks for the prayers and i'll keep ya's posted
