i know that its been awhile for an update but dad finally made it home this evening! His kidneys are back to 100% but he does have 6 chemo setions left and then radiation for his prostate cancer. they also found that he had small cell carcinoma. its extremely rare to be found in the prostate but ol' dad's lucky enough to get it there. the oncologist feels that the chemo will destroy it and then the radiation will shrink the prostate then we will go from there. SO..... If you guys havent go get your prostate checked out!! Its not as bad as they say i've gotten mine checked for the past 3 years and it was only bad that one time when the doc checked it and had both hands on my hips err... uh.... wait.... LOL Seriously though it's highly treatable if it's caught early and you aren't hard headed like the ol man Thanks for the prayers

Glad to hear he's back home and doing better.

Let me second getting your prostate checked... lost my dad because he didn't go get his checked when he should have. He was having issues and ignored them... (He had his reasons, but we could have worked around them )
