Hi, I am about order a Toytec kit and still have questions after reading other messages on here. Just when I think I have it right, I see another thread that changes it. I'm also still not sure if I need spacers or not. Any guidance will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Vehicle - 2005 Tacoma Access Cab SR5 TRD 4x4 - I will not be using it for off-roading - - I am adding a truck cap and then having the vehicle wrapped for business advertising - -I just wanted a better looking stance.

Here is what I am leaning towards: (Toytec was unable to assist - said they don't answer tire/wheel questions)

Toytec Ultimate lift package with Radflo front coilovers:
    • 2.0" diameter shock body Radflo coilovers
    • front diff drop kit for 4x4s
    • Rear OME CS047R Dakar Leaf Springs
    • Bilstein rear 5100s
V-Tec Offroad 326 Wheels (pics below -sorry for sizing - couldn't reduce)
    • black
    • 17x8.5
    • offset +18mm
    • Centerbore 106.2mm
BFG All Terrain KO Tires 285/70/17

No new upper arms (unless I need them)

    Spacers?

Will eventually be adding new (heavier) front and rear bumpers

You will need wheel spacers. I'd find a different wheel with better specs.

On a 17x8.5 rim, you'd want backspacing around -6mm (as opposed to +18mm)

That's a full inch less backspacing on a rim of identical width.
