Forget the heat gun, forget Goo-Gone. Fishing line and one of these guys on a drill. Done in minutes.

I don't think anyone wants to buy that, most people already have fishing line in their home and it take minutes as well, it took me 10 minutes to debadge my whole truck. Easy peasy. Would've taken me longer finding your item in a store.

The giant stamp in the tail gate might give them a clue!
When I used to take my 07 in to the dealer, the service writers always wrote it up as a tundra. Even the dealer couldn't tell the two apart. Lol

You might not, but someone might. I've debadged plenty of cars over the years and this is the best way I've found to deal with the left over glue residue. I guess I shouldn't try and pass on a helpful tool I've used.

I didn't heat mine up or use fishing line. I grabbed that shit with some lineman pliers and ripped em off. Then I rolled off the glue with my finger.

It's your rig bro, do what YOU think looks best. Don't use a heat gun, you may damage your paint. Just park your rig out in the sun for about 1 hour then use dental floss. Since you asked, I completely debadged my rig.

Because there is no clean looking badgeless grille (oem honeycomb is ugly as fuck - I dont mind the actual toyota symbol part) available and a symbol or brand name of the manufacturer is as close as "clean" I can get and is reminiscent of vintage toyota grilles. The thing that irks me isnt the manufacturer name (its fine for ONE badge front and one rear if body work is required to remove them completely), but I dont want it to say TACOMA redundantly 9 times over. I'm very particular. Its probably because they're raised lettering disrupting the flow of the body panel its on. I would also have removed the TRD bed stickers but the wife likes them a lot and they're not raised so it doesnt bother me enough to fight her on it to remove them.

+1 Best tool out there to remove the sticker residue. Used it when de-badging my 17 taco

The Pro grill isn't chrome. Imagine what it would like driving around without any grill.

Eraser wheels are the best. I can debadge a Silverado (they have tons of emblems) in like 5 minutes, then hit the spots with the polished. Looks like it never had a badge on it.

    Like, so many.
I pulled off the dealer sticker and the V6 on the tailgate. I blacked out the door badges. I kept the TRD stickers because I like them. I also got a black grille because that chrome one is gaudy.

Ontop of de-badging the truck I had to get rid of that black/chrome look by sanding it and painting it flat black. Added a little trd badge because I wanted to feel special. Also I added the black raised lettering on the tailgate but kept the "M" and the "A" (bottom pic is old w/ badges)

I wasn't suggesting to remove the grill entirely, but there's many options for a completely stealth grill that doesnt have TOYOTA or a Toyota Logo or any badging at all. It seemed like they were both liking the 'stealth' look without any branding...and the PRO grille is clearly not in line with that.

Took all badges and stickers off. Just so much easier to wash and wax.

Badges stay on for me. personal preference but I like them.

Then again seems like I am the only one that actually likes the OEM TRD OR grill as well.

IMO it Looks a hell of a lot better than the braces that my truck came with, and it doesn't rust like aftermarket metal grills. I'm sure many others agree. I think some like you don't like the pro grill because they don't want or cant afford to spend 350-400 for a pro grill. My post was just about debadging emblems and stickers, not my pro grill.
