Preference: Badged or Debadged..?

After seeing this forum the door/V6 badges are goneeeeee.

 

That thing is mean looking. I love those rims and the stance it has. I also got Wildpeak ATW3's. I went with E tho, so we will see how long that lasts. Never had E rated tires before. What size and offset are you at?

It's funny tho, I knew my truck was coming with the "blackout" package and I still took one look and was like
"Yep, stickers and badges coming off for sure".

But for the life of me, I can't understand people taking a perfectly good OR or Sport and trying to make it look like an SR.

 

I like badged, de-badged, custom badged...whatever. Mostly, I just appreciate people making these trucks their own. My truck was born MGM Nightshade. Kept it badged and swapped out the bed decals for a matte black. I dig the subtleness. New wheels on the way (hopefully before Christmas) to add some contrast.

 

I have the E rated Falkens. Damn things are near indestructible

 

Debadged except the TRD sticker on the bed (and the grille if you count that ha)... Contemplating on removing that though. I like the clean look!

 

I think most vehicles look dumb when you debadge them, but the Tacoma is an exception. With the sharp contours in the bodywork and "TACOMA" stamped in the tailgate, the badges look like an afterthought to me.

The TRD stickers are staying on mine, though. Taking the TRD stickers off a Tacoma is like taking the 7-slot grille off a Jeep

 

Always been a fan of badged but that does look clean!

My badges/stickers are staying.

 

Only removed the funky TRD 4X4 sticker on the rear quarter panels. Kept the Tacoma, Toyota, V6 badges.

Anyhow, its YOUR truck. Do as you wish.

 

But how is everyone gonna know that your truck was developed for racing?

 

Interesting......I don't think of it as racing truck.
