PreRun->4x fix build

Did a little cutting and a lot of forcefull pushing and got the bumper back inline front to back now just need to work on up and down
Opened about a 3/16 gap and top and bottom


this gap was 2x the size before it closed up

 

Bought a Warn XD9000 for $250 that needs either a few welds or a new drum support

Also needs a good cleaning and grease coat

 

Bumper fitted

 

Got a S-hook stuck in my tire

 

Got a fuse panel I need to pin out, and build out

Also got a water heater for camping ($40)

 

Skilz, looking good.

 

It’s getting there
but I still need to finish the bumper, install the winch, buy some d-rings, wire in the compressors, install the switch pros
Oh and maybe convert it to 4x4 since the parts are sitting in a pile at my parents house

 

Done a lot more than me and others as well. You got a cool build going, going to be awesome when finished.

 

Where is this panel from?

 

It's a Bussmann panel they are available on ebay and other places
I got it from another member on here, but it's not straight forward wiring
I attached a spreadsheet with what I've figured out so far

If anyone wants more info I'd be happy to do my best to help

 

How's the heater working out? What kind is it? That's a sweet score! I've been interested in doing on board water with heat

Sub a dub dub! Nice looking build. The only thing that you could do better would be to Convert it to a 6spd..

I wanted a DCLB, but they didn't offer a manual so I had to settle for the short bed

the Relentless fab bumper was passed on to another member, and I got an ARB Bumper

 

I also took off the 5100/855 and LR UCAs and put on Total Chaos Uniball UCAs and Icon RR

Hey OP, How was it installing the new head unit? were you able to use the steering wheel controls?

 

it was pretty simple just a little bit of trimming, my truck never had steering wheel controls, so I had to change my clock spring to add them, but they work great
I since sold that radio and went to the nav headunit and the controls work with that as well

 

So after a 4 month wait my 9.5 XP-s showed up yesterday

 

Got my icon adjuster nuts replaced and then got them adjusted

Back to level again
