OK, I'm new here to all this offroading shenaniganery so don't hurt me...........WTF is a 4x4 Lt prerunner? I thought 4x4 was 4wd and prerunner was 2wd & LT was long travel and could be on either 2wd or 4wd. How the fuck do you have 2wd, 4wd & LT all in same vehicle? Has overnaming occurred or am I missing the outboard single prop twin screw jet boat cruise ship inboard kayak here?

Your right. The OP is asking if its worth it to LT a 2wd. People are just giving opinions for benefits of 2wd LT vs 4wd LT

Haha ok. Maybe you just cant read then. Cause what the OP is looking for is to LONG TRAVEL his soccer van with a bed. How fast can your sand monster hit whoops that are 2 feet tall? You said it in your first post that your ancient CJ crawls through the sand. Us soccer van Long Travels are looking for speed, not crawling through the desert

I also have a great question for you. Why are you in this forum? Why not go to a jeep forum where you can all jack each other off with how slow you can crawl

P.S. - Im sorry we dont all go the wannabe gangster route with our tacoma's. What you have is a wannabe snoop dogg mobile with a bed

prerunner : a vehicle used to pre-run courses for race trucks. A common misconception is that a prerunner is simply a lifted 2wd truck, but this is not the case at all. Prerunners come in all shapes and sizes, 2wd, 4wd, truck, buggy, etc. Many race teams build prerunners that have interchangeable parts with the race vehicle, and the prerunner can sometimes run a race in place of the race vehicle in severe cases.

This is one of the most annoying things on TW. this is the only place that people seem to thing a prerunner(desert truck) is 2wd.

There is toyotas definition of a Prerunner(2wd) and an actual Prerunner,(offroad truck)
