    Just give it some time
Ok, it looks like this is the thread I should have posted my question, and I think I pretty much got my answer. I was wondering if I could launch a jetski with my Prerunner, or transport a patient off the beach (meaning I would have to drive rather slow and steadily). It's not sounding too good.

Are there any mods that could be made to make my Prerunner more effective through sand, maybe mud? Obvious would be tires and lift.

Yep... and the type of sand will determine how much air you let out... if 12 psi still getas you stuck, then go to 10 or even 8 psi. If you're stuck you need to get out...

Clear away any built up sand from in front of your tires, as well...

Yes, you air down ALL FOUR tires... doesn't matter if you are 2WD or 4WD... the truck needs to float.. and the front end is far heavier than the back.

Do not turn sharp or brake hard when deflated... Momentum is king... If you can, come to a stop facing downhill so when you are ready to drive again, the slope will not work against you.

If you are an '09 + 2WD then push the button to activate AUTO LSD. This will give you maximum engine power... otherwise the normal TRAC mode regulates the engine output when a tire looses traction.

I live near Galveston, Miles of sand. Air down, gas it like there's an egg under your foot and Have your cell phone charged up.
