It’s all good. I am going start with the front and then full send. I need to submit some leave to tackle it without bs. Are you modifying your rear prop shaft or going with the 4x4 model.

If you don’t know already, starting with the trans will allow you easier access to the torque converter nuts behind the starter. I’m glad I did it without the front diff in the way, it would have been a pain! I bought a 4x4 driveshaft. It had an upgraded IEDLS carrier bearing and I’ll use angle iron to extend the mounting holes a few inches. Should facilitate a slight drop too which should help on vibrations if I was going to have any

So I didn't take.measurements. I installed the tranny, mount the center part to the tranny, mounted the end parts to the frame, and tac welded them all together. Then removed and finished the welds

Good weekend fellas. Man! this weeks has been an entire ordeal. Long story short, be careful with the sellers from car-parts.com it can be tedious AF and if you order through eBay make sure they deliver to residential addresses. Anyway it seems like I’m going to be needing the stock shifter. I don’t get why some of the recycling places don’t include the shifter but they clearly have the option to include it. Is just non sense. Anyway time for a de stress workout and some crispy ones at night.

I have the same setup BUT I just thrashed my driveshaft so I may have the lengths fixed when I get it repaired

That’s what I plan on doing. I’m using this one until I get my prerunner shaft modified to fit. I’ll keep this and the angle iron as a backup

That's what I had planned for mine but mine wasn't that much off from the cross memeber. Mine fit at the end of the slot on the carrier bearing.( I did use a ac driveshaft tho maybe that has something to do with it)

Nice I’m doing the driveshaft tomorrow. Working on shifter now, do you think this is enough room to shift in every gear? And yes I welded inside my cab fight me
