Prerunner to 4x4 Conversion

    Those of you who went this route may want to inspect the mount. After about 2 weeks of driving, the center support started to bend downward. The brackets I made were still straight. I bent the center support back straight with a crowbar and reinforced it with 3/16 steel so it can’t bend. I’ll see if this holds up better

    Good PSA for the ones who went that route, ill be modifying the pre runner shaft so the center support bearing sits at oem location.

    Yea I’ll end up going that route eventually. The center support wasn’t designed to have offset weight, very thin steel in the area

    just to double check, the switches on the transfer case(4H, 4L, and N) provide the ground for the circuit am I correct? Now the 4H is 16 and 4L is 15 or the other way around?2B63CC7D-0F62-49FF-B133-F0C2D4D9C4D8.jpg

    yes they provide ground. Other way around, 4H is 15 and 4L is 16
