Prerunner TRD?

    So living in San Diego I see a lot of Prerunners TRD packaged, some sport and some off-road. I understand you don't need 4x4 too much here but in the case of an off-road package why would you buy a prerunner? Just because its thousands less, wouldn't they be the best use as a mall crawler as any serious off-roading you would need 4x4?

    Yes but 4x4 can climb bigger curbs in the parking lot so its worth the extra money.

    OP, If you dont want a 4x2, then dont buy one. Calling 4x2's "Mall crawlers, is gonna make your stay on this site very short.
