President Jimmy CB

Has anyone tried to mount a President Jimmy CB in the dash cubby left of the steering wheel?

 

sorry all i could think about is if jimmy is stuck in the garage

Looks like the Bill is 4" x 4" x 1". Maybe you can go measure the cubby. The jimmy seems to be larger.

That would be a great location to mount a CB!

I have their McKinley, I absolutely love it!!! It's packed full of features and has SSB

 

it is in a my 2013 2nd gen dclb. I don't know about a 3rd gen though.

Presidential none the less......

 

I must have missed the Bill when I was searching. It is only $10 more and the radio mic has up/down buttons. My Tacoma is on order...so I don't have one to measure. I spoke with @forty2 about the plates he had designed for lights in that spot and he thought the depth may only be around 3".

 

That cubby pops out too in case you need more room. You could create your own support bracket. The Bill has the channel up/down buttons on the mic. I have the BC906w on my McKinley, they didn't offer the Liberty-mic in the US last year.
