My trade in's were an 83 Jeep CJ5 and a 08 Ranger XL. I tried to sell the Jeep on-line and had so many scammers I gave up and traded it along with my Ranger. I originally purchased the Jeep for a cruiser, something fun for the wife and I to drive in the evenings during nice weather. She had issues being able to enter and exit easily and it being a CJ5 made the legroom limited due to it's WWII vintage design ( people were smaller then). I hated to have it just setting and I really wanted a 4WD for winter weather so enter the Tacoma. The Ranger was a long term vehicle, 10years. It was the most trouble free vehicle I've owned and the longest I've owned a vehicle. Truth be known I would probably be shopping for one of the Rangers to come if I didn't want to make this trade before the winter winds blow. I'm really happy so far with my Tacoma. It's so very comfortable, we'll see how it stacks up to the Ranger in reliability down the road.

Man I've had a lot of vehicles in my short span of adulthood. Saving up for a play car, maybe older BMW M3 soon.

This my first truck I personally own. Before 2014 CR-V (hated it), then 2004 Civic (loved t -too small for family). In my name, but wifey's 2011 Outback, and wifeys 2008 Forester (loved that thing, but she killed it and fortunately walked away!!)

Thanks. I would've loved to keep it but f'n thing was at the dealers every other month for one problem after another with the def system. I didn't need the capability of it or the headaches anymore, traded it for the Taco and $4000 which paid for the mods on the Taco.

Nice. Very similar to my fleet. Not the best pic but you can see my '17 Tacoma in the garage behind the '93 YJ. The silver car is my girlfriends Hyundai. The YJ was my daily driver for a few years prior to me buying the Tacoma. She's now pretty much a weekend warrior. The Taco is now my daily driver and is my first truck.

I miss my S2000 more than any other vehicle I've had, which is quite a few!

Had been out of trucks for a long time because of kids and all...before I recently purchased my 2017 TRD OR Manual this past July. My last truck was before I had kids and it was a fantastic Jeep Comanche 4 speed no access doors, no double doors, plain jane truck. Bought it new and loved that truck - never had a problem with it. Back then Jeep made great products that were made to last (at least in my experience with that Comanche as well as an old CJ5, also a 4 speed manual) that I had for years.

Factory stuff so far. Mud flaps, tow package, weather mats, bed mat.
Original year Honda Ridgeline. 240,000 miles until a drunk totaled it. Not a single non-maintenance service call.
Loved the interior, space, function of the bed. Incredible suspension.
Hated 17mpg ( though steady highway speeds around 85mph was probably closer to 20mpg that my Gen3 6MT can't reach above 70moh).
Hated the automatic and low towing capacity.

6MT sold me on Tacoma more than anything and I am pleased with the decision.
